"Spring Has Sprung"
Each March we welcome the arrival of mustard flowers here in northern CA. Cheerfully waving gently in the wind, spilling across fields and gracing inauspicious sides of highways, they are a bright, hopeful sign of life in an otherwise usually gray, wet season.
This acrylic & oil pastel series of 4 celebrates the mustard flower and what they give to us.
The square shape of the entire set mimicking the individual squares is a fun bit of interest. These lightweight canvases are able to be hung on a nail or sawtooth hanger installed on back, or to elevate the look can be individually framed in floater frames.
